The Southeastern Conference will be home to one of this week’s most anticipated college football games. No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide (4-1) will host the LSU Tigers (2-3) in a heated SEC West rivalry game.
The Crimson Tide have history on their side, they lead 54–26–5 in the all-time series. Since 2011, Alabama is 9-2 over the Tigers, and have won 9 of the last 10 contest. With LSU having a down year, the unranked team will be searching for a major upset and potentially play spoiler to Alabama’s playoff hopes.
Alabama has a lot riding on this game after being ranked No. 2 in the first College Football Playoff ranking of the season. The Crimson Tide has the highest initial CFP ranking ever for a non-unbeaten team and could possibly move up to No. 1 with a win and a Georgia loss.
Saturday’s primetime affair will consist of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Holly Rowe on the call. There are expected to be over 100,000 fans in attendance when these two SEC powerhouses take the field. Cord cutters can find out how to watch Alabama vs. LSU, below.
