NBATV will be the home of tonight’s national game when the 22-9 Lakers host the 10-17 Wizards at 10 p.m. ET. LeBron James and the defending NBA champions are coming off of a shocking 96-94 defeat against the Heat in a 2020 Finals rematch. LA is on a 2-game losing streak and will be looking to defeat a Wizards team that has won their last 4 contests.
Fans will be treated to a few interesting games around the league. Luka Dončić and the 13-15 Mavericks make their return to the hardwood for the first time since February 14th when they host the 13-14 Grizzlies at 8:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Southeast and Fox Sports Southwest. The Mavs have won 4 of their last 5 and will be looking to knock off any signs of rust against a young Grizzlies team.
The reigning Eastern Conference champions the 13-17 Heat look to follow up their big win against the Lakers with a victory over the 12-18 Thunder tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Sun and Fox Sports Oklahoma. The Heat are heating up with a 2-game win streak and will need another impressive performance against a young Thunder team.
Tipping-off at 9 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Arizona and NBC Sports Northwest, a Western Conference showdown between Damian Lillard’s 18-11 Trail Blazers and Devin Booker’s 19-10 Suns. Both teams have won 4 of their last 5. The Trail Blazers are coming off of a shocking defeat against the Wizards. They’ll be traveling to The Grand Canyon State against a Suns team who have only lost 1 of their last 8 home games.
At 9 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Southeast and AT&T SportsNet-Rocky Mountain, the 14-15 Hornets travel to Salt Lake City to take on the best team in the NBA the 24-6 Jazz. The Hornets are coming off of a thrilling victory against the Warriors thanks to the heroics of Terry Rozier. Buzz City will be looking to begin their 6-game road trip by defeating Donovan Mitchell and a Jazz team that has won 14-straight home games.
